Oh, I also used to be a Professional photographer, but everyone is a photographer these days!

Andrew Duthie

I’ve been fascinated by computer programming since I was a young teenager because it enabled me to create “something out of nothing”. This led to a career in web development where I’ve worked in a variety of work environments: from enterprise, to agency, and most recently remote working. Currently, I work as a JavaScript Engineer at Automattic where I’m putting my passion for building rich interactive web interfaces to use in helping to build an improved WordPress.com experience.

Bobby Bryant

Before jumping into the WordPress Community, I spent 13 years managing high performing teams of electronic technicians, while serving in the United States Marine Corps. During that time I witnessed a lot of technological change, and know first hand the importance of learning new skills.

Recently, I fell in love with all things WordPress. Over the past two years I have spent an unhealthy amount of time, learning everything there is to know about WordPress. During this time, I have worked with a number of clients who have picked WordPress for their primary website, and I find it exciting, that more and more Enterprise clients are using the platform too. Helping clients, solve tough problems, with custom tailored solutions built on WordPress, is what makes me excited to start each and every day.

In September of 2014 I joined a WordPress Development Agency called 10up. At 10up I am currently serving as a Project Manger. I spend my days coordinating the efforts on a number of WordPress projects, and my nights improving my skills as a WordPress developer.

Brian Retterer

Cameron Barrett

Cameron (@camworld) has been blogging since you were in grade school (well, some of you). He pioneered the blog format in the late 1990s and remembers an eager, bright-eyed young man named Ma.tt being excited to meet one of the “founding fathers of blogging” in 2003.

He’s designed and built web sites for presidential candidates, the U.S. Army, the World Economic Forum, Teach for America and lead the migration of 70+ web sites from a terrifically-bad, proprietary SaaS to WordPress Multisite for New Jersey’s largest public school district.

He hails from Northern Michigan and currently lives in Northern NJ with his family. He is leading the charge for embracing “WordPress in Schools” and his goal is to eventually have all 14,000+ public school districts in this country using WordPress in some way through a services-based company called SchoolPresser.

Chris Wilcoxson

Chris Wilcoxson is the Lead Developer at DCC Marketing, a full-service, boutique marketing agency based in Decatur, IL. He has worked with WordPress since 2007 and authors several plugins including ArtistDataPress and BP Profile Widgets. Cyrissa Carlson

She has recently left her full time elementary art position to teach photography workshops and photograph her clients full time. She is known for her Social Media savvy and, drawing from her ten years of classroom experience, her ability to take a technical subject (photography) and make it accessible to everyone.

She has been a featured guest on the CreativeLive stage in San Fransisco, was a guest blogger for Senior Style Guide, and has published work in the Journal for the Ohio Association for Gifted Children. Her photographs have been featured in national publications and her photos are currently on numerous local websites and publications.

When she’s not hanging out with her family or teaching, she may be found photographing families, dancers, seniors, weddings, or traveling nationally for branding photoshoots.

Daniel J. Lewis

As an award-winning podcaster, I help others launch and improve their own podcasts for sharing their passions and finding success. I create training resources and podcasting tools (like My Podcast Reviews); I offer one-on-one consulting and group training; I am a keynote speaker on podcasting and social media; and I host a network of award-nominated shows covering how to podcast, clean-comedy, and the #1 unofficial podcast for ABC’s hit drama Once Upon a Time. I also write about entrepreneurship and technology.

Danny Santoro

Born at the dawn of the digital era (1989, apparently), I’ve grown up around tech, media, and entertainment all of my life. It’s so ingrained that a profession was an easy choice – after a four-year stint at the University of Cincinnati’s highly competitive Electronic Media program, I graduated and went out into the big scary world.

Joe Rozsa

I am the owner and creative director of Trailer Trash Design. A small hard-hitting marketing and graphic design studio geared toward start-ups, small and medium-sized companies. I utilize WP for all my clients site needs and urge them to become involved with their sites after I’ve completed their projects. The WordCamp presentations that I give are specifically geared to the end user like my clients and issues they may come across or for those that may be helping clients admin their sites. In 2013 I was the organizer of WordCamp North Canton. It was the first WordCamp in our area and am happy to say a huge success and we’ll be doing it again this May.

Rich Robinkoff

Riley Paulsen

Riley Paulsen is a nighttime freelance web designer/developer based around agencies, small businesses, and nonprofits in the Indianapolis market. Weapons of choice include WordPress for custom theme and plugin development, AngularJS, and even a little Flash/Flex just for nostalgia sake—he’s totally not bitter about that last one… Riley has 9 years of web experience, about 120+ websites out in the wild, and holds Adobe Certified Expert distinctions in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash (definitely bitter).

During normal waking hours, he mentors, trains, and works with design and web students at Ball State University’s award-winning student media agency, the Digital Corps.

Outside of the web, Riley and his wife relish the cognitive dissonance and constant heated debate over the merits of fostering a Star Wars or Star Trek household…
