Jen started working for Automattic as a Happiness Engineer in late 2013, after leaving a decade of work as a university biology lecturer. She especially loves helping new WordPress.com users, and has a particular fondness for photoblogs and food blogs. Her photoblog can be found at lightcandy.org, and she has a personal blog at mythreebirds.org. Jen is now a part of the team at WordPress.com that supports the Jetpack plugin, which she (obviously) loves.
Jen is a mom of three kids under five years old, and a big fan of dark roast coffee, her 85mm f/1.8 camera lens, NPR, campfires, sleeping in, and board gaming.
